For years, families in Irbaan and the surrounding communities have had to travel long distances to access basic medical services, an impossible journey during emergencies and a heavy burden for mothers, children, and the elderly. But a new chapter of hope is unfolding.

Through the support of the Lazizi Welfare Foundation, the Irbaan Health Centre is undergoing a remarkable transformation. The first step fencing the compound, has already been completed, ensuring safety and protecting the facility from roaming wildlife and livestock. Renovation works began with the demolition of the old ceiling and roof, paving the way for a modern, community-friendly structure.

Today, construction is progressing steadily and on schedule. Major milestones such as roofing, ceiling installation, and window fittings are already complete, giving shape to a center that will soon stand as a lifeline for thousands. Inside, the finishing phase is well underway, Tiling, painting and pit latrine facility is on track for completion by end of December 2025.Once completed, the Irbaan Healthcare Centre will bring essential medical services closer to the community than ever before—improving health, enhancing safety, and restoring dignity. This project is more than construction; it is an investment in life, hope, and the future of Irbaan.
